Stay Information: This is a designated "RV Friendly" stop allowing free camping for self-contained vehicles for up to 48 hours.
Toilets & Showers: Recently upgraded toilet block including disabled access. Coin-operated hot showers are available (typically $1 or $2).
Charging Station: Features a coin-operated station for charging mobile phones and electric bikes.
Pet-Friendly: Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead.
Recreation: Includes a sheltered picnic area, a communal herb garden, and proximity to the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail.
The dump point and rest area are located at the defunct recreation reserve/sporting oval at the southern end of the town.
Main Access: From the center of Heyfield, travel south on MacFarlane Street.
Entrance: The RV Stop Spot is located on the corner of MacFarlane Street and Clark Street.
On-Site: The dump point is positioned for easy drive-through access within the rest area grounds, typically near the main amenities block.
Navigation: The site is flat and spacious, easily accommodating large motorhomes, caravans, and "Big Rigs."
Highlight: This facility is maintained by the Heyfield Traders & Tourism Association. While the stay and dump point are free, donations are greatly appreciated via the on-site honesty box to help cover the costs of water, cleaning, and maintenance.
