Waste Disposal: FREE PUBLIC DUMP POINT for the disposal of grey and black water. (While free for the public, donations or paid camping fees help maintain this volunteer-run facility).
Potable Water: Fresh drinking water is available on-site for refilling RV tanks (taps are located near the power heads and the main entrance gate).
Rinse Water: A dedicated tap is provided at the dump point for rinsing cassettes and cleaning the area.
Showgrounds Amenities:
Public Toilets: Clean toilets (including disabled access) are available within the precinct.
Refuse: Rubbish bins are provided for domestic waste only.
Recreation: Features an electric BBQ in the rotunda and plenty of open space.
Pet-Friendly: Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.
Camping: Low-cost short-term camping is available (approx. $15 unpowered / $25 powered).
The dump point is located within the Korumburra Showgrounds, which is situated on the southern edge of the township and managed by the Korumburra & District Agricultural & Pastoral Society.
Main Access: From the center of Korumburra, head south toward Leongatha on the South Gippsland Highway (A440).
Entrance: Use the Top Gate entrance, which is located directly off the highway. You will see the Secretary’s Office immediately adjacent to this gate.
On-Site: Follow the internal road toward the amenities block. The dump point is positioned for easy access, typically near the toilet block or the rear service area of the grounds.
Navigation: The grounds are large and flat, making it an ideal stop for "Big Rigs," large caravans, and fifth-wheelers.
Highlight: This is a Free Public Dump Point. It is a crucial service stop for those traveling the South Gippsland Highway toward Wilsons Promontory. Please note that access may be restricted during the Korumburra Show (held in February) or other major equestrian events.
