• Dump Point: This is a free public dump point. * Relocation Note: As of late 2025, the central Mansfield dump point was moved from the Visitor Information Centre (Station Precinct) to Withers Lane to make way for a new playground.

• Vehicle Access: Excellent. The new site on Withers Lane is designed for easy drive-through access for big rigs, caravans, and motorhomes.

• Potable Water: Please note that while non-potable water is available for rinsing, the installation of potable (drinking) water is scheduled but may still be in progress.

• Amenities: Public toilets are available nearby at the Mansfield Station Precinct/Visitor Information Centre.

• Pet Friendly: The area is pet-friendly for short stops.

• Proximity: Located just a few minutes from the main town center and the Mansfield Showgrounds.

How to Find This Location

The dump point is no longer at the Showgrounds or the Station Precinct; it is now located at the Goulburn Valley Water depot.

1. From the Town Center (High Street): Head east along the main street toward Mt Buller.

2. Turn Right: Turn right onto Withers Lane (located near the industrial/service edge of town, close to the Goulburn Valley Water depot).

3. Continue: Follow the lane for a short distance.

4. Arrival: The Free Public Dump Point is located on the left-hand side within the depot's designated public access area. It is clearly signed with the blue and white RV dump point symbol.
