Vehicle Access: High-quality access. The site is designed to accommodate heavy vehicles and large RVs, though it can become busy during peak times (weekends and public holidays).
Amenities: Public toilets are available on-site.
Recycled Goods Shop: The "Tip Op Shop" is located at the same address, selling pre-loved items and plants.
Other Waste: As a Resource Recovery Centre, you can also dispose of general recycling, E-waste, and scrap metal (check for applicable fees for non-recyclable waste).
Pet Friendly: While pets are allowed in vehicles, it is a high-traffic industrial site, so it is recommended they remain inside.
The facility is located in the industrial precinct of Mornington, easily accessible from the Moorooduc Highway.
From Nepean Highway: Head east on Tyabb Road.
Turn Left: Turn left into Watt Road (near the Mornington Cinema and industrial complex).
Continue: Follow Watt Road toward the end of the street.
Arrival: The Mornington Resource Recovery Centre entrance is located at 134 Watt Road.
Locating the Dump Point: The Free Public Dump Point is situated within the facility grounds; follow the blue RV signs once you pass through the gate area.
Monday to Friday: 8.00 am – 4.00 pm
Weekends & Public Holidays: 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
(Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday)
