Overnight Camping: Low-cost powered ($30/night) and unpowered sites are available on the grassed showground area. Strictly no tents; self-contained or caravan/motorhome camping only.
Amenities: Modern, newly installed toilet and shower blocks are available for those staying on-site.
Pet Friendly: Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a lead at all times.
Recreation: Features a basketball court, netball court, and easy access to local walking trails. It is a short walk or quick drive into the Myrtleford town center.
The reserve is located on the northern edge of the Myrtleford township, just a few minutes from the Great Alpine Road.
From the Great Alpine Road (B500): As you travel through Myrtleford, turn onto Standish Street (near the Myrtleford Holiday Park).
Turn Left: Turn left onto O'Donnell Avenue.
Continue: Drive past the residential houses toward the end of the street where the landscape opens up.
Arrival: The Myrtleford Recreation Reserve & Showgrounds entrance is clearly visible at 109 O'Donnell Avenue.
Locating the Dump Point: Once inside the main gates, follow the internal road toward the amenities block; the dump point is clearly signed for easy drive-up access.
