Dump Point: This is a free public dump point. It is a council-maintained facility located at the Nhill Aerodrome, separate from the museum's restricted areas.
Vehicle Access: High. The site offers excellent access for large RVs, motorhomes, and big rigs, featuring wide sealed areas and plenty of room to turn or pull over.
Potable Water: Drinking water is available for tank refills and rinsing.
Amenities: Public toilets are available nearby within the aerodrome precinct.
Museum: The Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre is located on-site, featuring a restored Avro Anson and Wirraway, though it is primarily open on weekends (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
Pet Friendly: Dogs are permitted on a lead in the open areas around the aerodrome.
The dump point is located on the northern outskirts of Nhill, approximately 2km from the town center.
From the Western Highway (Victoria Street): Head toward the center of Nhill.
Turn North: Turn onto Aerodrome Road (near the grain silos and railway crossing).
Continue: Drive north for approximately 2 kilometers, following the signs for the Nhill Aerodrome and Aviation Heritage Centre.
Arrival: The Free Public Dump Point is located just before the entrance to the Aviation Heritage Centre, positioned on the left-hand side for easy roadside access.
