Dump Point: This is a free public dump point. It is provided by Hume City Council at the Sunbury Resource Recovery Centre and is available for public use during facility hours.
Vehicle Access: Excellent. The site is designed to accommodate residential and heavy vehicles, providing ample space for large caravans, motorhomes, and fifth-wheelers to maneuver.
Potable Water: Drinking water is available for tank refills and rinsing.
Amenities: Public toilets are available on-site during opening hours.
Recycled Goods Store: The Sunbury "Tip Shop" is located at the same address (open Wednesday–Saturday) for those looking for pre-loved items or plants.
Other Waste: You can also dispose of general recycling, car batteries, scrap metal, and motor oil (up to 10L free). Note: Fees apply for general waste disposal.
Pet Friendly: Pets must remain inside your vehicle at all times while on the facility grounds.
The facility is located on the northwestern outskirts of Sunbury, approximately 5km from the town center.
From Sunbury Town Center: Head northwest on Gap Road.
Continue: At the roundabout, continue onto Riddell Road (C743) heading toward Riddells Creek.
Arrival: The Sunbury Resource Recovery Centre is located on your right-hand side at 515 Riddell Road.
Locating the Dump Point: Once through the gatehouse, follow the blue RV signage; the dump point is positioned for easy drive-up access within the precinct.
Monday to Sunday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
