How to Find This Location

The dump point is located at the Tidal River visitor hub, which is the southernmost point accessible by vehicle in the park.

Main Access: From the park entrance, drive approximately 30 kilometers south along the Wilsons Promontory Road to reach Tidal River.
Direction: Once at the Tidal River hub, follow Ring Road heading toward the coast.
Landmark: Look for the Overnight Hikers Car Park, which is located near the boat ramp and Norman Beach access.
On-Site: The dump point is situated within the car park area, specifically next to the boat washdown and fish cleaning bay. It is not always clearly signed from the main road, so look for the service area within the car park perimeter.

Highlight: This is a Free Public Dump Point maintained by Parks Victoria. It is a critical service stop for those staying at the Tidal River Campground or Stockyard Camping Area, as it is the only waste disposal point within the national park.
