How to Find This Location: The recreation reserve is located on the eastern side of the Wonthaggi township:

From the town center, travel east on the Bass Highway (A440).

The entrance to the Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve is clearly signed on the right-hand side.

Proceed through the main gates; the dump point is located internally, usually situated near the amenities block servicing the sports ovals and camping area.
