The dump point is not located directly within the Lions Park rest area on Creek Street, but is situated just a few hundred meters away, outside the Avoca Caravan Park.
From the Town Center (High St/Pyrenees Hwy): If you are at the corner of High St and Creek St, head north-west on High Street for approximately 300 meters.
Turn: Turn left onto Liebig Street (or follow signs for the Avoca Caravan Park).
On-Site: The dump point is located on the nature strip directly opposite or just outside the entrance to the Avoca Caravan Park (between Liebig and Faraday Streets).
Access: It is positioned for easy drive-through access on a wide, level road surface, making it suitable for large caravans and big rigs.
Pro Tip: While the dump point is free, the nearby Avoca Riverside Park is a popular free-camp spot. It is common practice for travelers to fill their water and empty waste at the Liebig Street site before settling in at the Riverside Park.
Please note: that while the Avoca Riverside Park (Lions Park) is located at the corner of High Street and Creek Street, the actual dump point is located a short distance away near the Caravan Park.
